INFORMATION

Why
Woolfish?
I
came across the name when we (my husband Stuart and
I) had divers staying with us for B&B and they mentioned
the Wolf Fish which divers come to see at St Abbs.
To my shame I hadn't heard of this fish, I 'googled'
it
and low and behold, up came St Abbs. When it came to
finding a name for the yarn and textiles shop I kept
coming back to the Wolf Fish, and with being synonymous
with St Abbs, I just had to go with it. Hence WOOLFISH.
Woolfish opened at the end of November last year.
About me!
Just a little about Louise. I am a big fish in a little shop! I just recently
(last year) got married to Stuart who
is 'the kind handsome driver for Scotline
Tours', they call 'The Farmer'', I used to live in Ireland for about 17
years. My daughter Trudi was born there and is now 21. O how time flies.
While
in Ireland I used to teach embroidery,I also had a craft
shop in Tullamore called Ballindarra Crafts. I used the
shop as a base to embroider sheep pictures which were sold
in many craft shops around Ireland,
parts of Europe and the States.
When
I moved back to Scotland, I taught Crewel Embroidery in
the local Community Center.
